 Once again, Roots Biopack presents an environmentally friendly packaging innovation: fully compostable display packaging. The display packaging is made out of 2 fully renewable raw materials, namely sugarcane for the bottom and PLA (cornstarch) for the transparent lid.Both the lid as well as the bottom comply with the European standard for compostable packaging, EN 13432.  Sugarcane has already been represented on the market in meat, fruit and vegetable trays. PLA can also be found in drinking cups and salad containers. These materials are now being combined for the first time to create a new product that fits in perfectly with the present eco-trend. In combination with environmentally friendly labels, this packaging is a perfect way to emphasize your commitment to environmentally aware entrepreneurship. Previously, Roots Biopack introduced compostable pastry packaging onto the market.In principle, this packaging can be produced in each desired shape, depending on the required application.
