Once again, Roots Biopack presents an environmentally friendly packaging innovation: a fully compostable pastry packaging. The display package is made from 2 fully renewable raw materials, namely sugarcane for the bottom and PLA (corn starch) for the transparent lid. Both the lid as well as the bottom comply with the European standard for compostable packaging. EN 13432. Sugarcane was already represented on the market in meat, fruit and vegetable trays. PLA can also be found in drinking cups and salad containers. These materials are now being combined for the first time to create a new product that fits in perfectly with the present eco-trend. In combination with environmentally friendly labels, this packaging is a perfect way to emphasize your commitment to environmentally aware entrepreneurship. In principle, this package can be produced in every desired shape, dependent on the required application. No concessions have been made with respect to quality, convenience or attractiveness in comparison to conventional packaging.
